What is Alexandria
Alexandria is an educational app that brings together all the tools that students use, need, and would like to have on a daily basis in order to work more organized and efficiently.
Features and Tools:
Tab Bar

Allows the user to switch between the different main views of the app

There are 4 main views:

Home Tab
-
Shows groups of items that the user has “pinned“ to the home view.

Can create new items (Collections, Folders, Documents, Notebooks, Flashcard Sets, Goals, and Teams)
Files Tab

Lists all collections, folders, documents, notebooks, and flashcard sets

Can navigate collections or folders depending on user preference

Any displaying items can also be sorted by a variety of options
Goals Tab

Users will be able to display all their goals as progress circles

Can switch between daily, weekly, and monthly views for goals

Can see trends compared to previous messurements

Teams Tab

Create groups among friends and classmates

Share anything such as entire pdfs, notebooks (specific pages or paragraphs from your pdf or notebook), and terms.
Navigation Bar
Tells the user where he/she is on the application
(from left to the right)

"User button" opens the user settings

"Plus button" opens the creation panel to create any item that you want (folder, document, notebook, collection, flashcard set, goal, or team)

The "utility button" changes between views and opens special panels ("hiding panel" in "home", "filter panel" in "files", "achievements" in "goals", and "DMs" in "teams"

The "settings button" opens the app settings panel
Plus Buttom

Opens up creation menu where the user can choose what he/she wants to create

Opens corresponding creation panel (New pdf file in the next example)
Creating File
After selecting what to create, one can choose the name of file, where to save it, and if daily goals will be set
File Editor

When a file or notebook is open, the file editor view is presented with the content

The toolbar offers a selection of pens and tools to interact with the files (fountain pen, ballpoint pen, highlighter, eraser, selection tool, etc)

The top row gives the user a series of utilities (collapse header, create new item, bookmark, search, share, etc)
Flashcard Set

The flashcard set allows the user to:

Study a set by going through all terms

Take a quiz to check how well you know all the terms

Have a spaced repetition setion to memorize cards for longer periods of time

Play mini-games to engage with the content
-
Cram the set by reviewing each term until there are no more unkown terms
